The use of my 'Italianness'

Central London is so packed with Italians that I find it almost overwhelming. It is not that I despise my fellow countrymen, but I am not so much proud of being Italian either. So far, my 'Italiannes' is about not being able to properly communicate in English than coming from a place that gave birth to Pasolini, Fontana, Monicelli, Guccini, etc. I am not able to highlight or drag into my conversations things/facts/people from my Italian cultural background. And that represents a problem since I have to build a new brand that stands out from others and everything that makes me 'unique' should be stressed. Still not sure, how I can 'propose' this part of me, but I know that I need to think about it.
